TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

As an educator, I view myself as a guide, helping students navigate the complex world of ideas, cultures, and technology. My approach is grounded in constructivism, where learning is an active, collaborative process that prepares students to think critically, lead with confidence, and become informed, engaged global citizens. I emphasize the development of essential skills such as critical thinking, digital literacy, leadership, and an appreciation for diversity, all while fostering an environment where students take ownership of their learning.

I believe in making education relevant by connecting classroom lessons to real-world issues and empowering students to become lifelong learners. My philosophy is rooted in a commitment to civic engagement and global citizenship, ensuring students are equipped to thrive in an interconnected, digital world.

CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT PHILOSOPHY

In my classroom, I serve as a guide on a learning journey, creating a nurturing, inclusive environment that addresses students’ academic, emotional, and social needs. Drawing on Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs and affective education, I prioritize building strong relationships, promoting emotional intelligence, and empowering student voices to foster a culture of growth, resilience, and self-regulation.
